Traverse line breaks with arrow keysīy default, pressing Left at the beginning of a line, or pressing Right at the end of a line, will not let the cursor traverse to the previous, or following, line. The xterm handling of the mouse buttons can still be used by keeping the shift key pressed. Note: Copy/paste will use the "* register if there is access to an X server, see the #Clipboard section. The mouse=a option is set in defaults.vim. To enable this feature, add this line into ~/.vimrc:
